Introduction to Baptism
By water and the Holy Spirit we are made members of the Church which is the body of Christ. Baptism Classes for parents and expectant parents are held on the 1st Sunday of each month at 12:00pm. To prepare for the service of Baptism we ask families to attend this instructional class that will:
- explore the meaning of the Sacrament of Baptism
- help you plan for this event
- answer any questions you might have
Note: This class is appropriate for planning an adult or child baptism.
When are Baptisms at King of Kings?
Baptisms are typically offered the 2nd Sunday of each month at a special Baptism Service held at 12:00pm.
For more information or to schedule a baptism please contact Pam at the church office at 651-738-3110 or pam.eisele@kingofkingswoodburymn.org
Note: Your baptism does not need to be scheduled before you attend the class.

Saturday Worship
Baptism Worship
At King of Kings we offer 2 distinct worship styles, Traditional and Contemporary.
-
Traditional Worship: Every Sunday we offer Traditional Worship at both 8:15 & 9:30 A.M. Traditional worship is a service that comes directly out of the red Evangelical Lutheran Worship book.
-
Contemporary Worship: Each weekend we offer 2 options for Contemporary Worship. Each service is lead by a worship team of musicians and vocalists. The music and message have a very contemporary feel.
New Celebration Worship (contemporary)
At 10:45 a.m. each Sunday, the New Celebration worship team leads our praise service. This worship service began in September of 1994 and has been continually blessed with musicians and vocalists whose prayers are to worship the Lord with all of their hearts, minds and strengths. Please come and worship Him with us!
New Creation Worship (contemporary)
"New Creation meets each Saturday at 5:17 P.M. (see II Corinthians 5:17). New Creation strives to be "new" in name and in practice as we follow God's Spirit in worship. You are invited, as the church, to give to the Lord our songs, praise, and to declare what an awesome God we serve. Worship is fueled by contemporary praise, prayer, and bible-centered messages. Worshipers are encouraged to bring their bibles as we dive into God's Word and relevant application for our daily lives. Come as you are each week as we learn what it means to "Go, and be the Church".
