Moms In Faith show off their Handiwork
November and December were hectic months for these busy moms. For the past few years this group of dedicated women have cut and sewn hundred of pairs of double fleece mittens. After the cutting and sewing is accomplished, their handiwork is added to the personal care products and small gifts they collected and packed into shoe boxes. The boxes are then wrapped the colorful holiday paper and added to the ShoeBoxes of Love champagne that our youth group sponsors. In 2008, 180 pairs mittens went into the 180 boxes they donated to this cause. 300 boxes in all were given out during a special holiday breakfast at the Salvation Army.
