July 31/Aug. 1
Pastor Jon Larson
Un-Think: Godly Home=Godly Children
Like any parent we all want what’s best for our children (or those who have been placed in our care) and so we seek to provide them with the tools they need for daily life as well as a firm foundation for a life of faith. Yet what happens when the faith that we claim and cling to doesn’t seem to be taking hold in those closest to us. Is it simply enough to believe ourselves or are we missing some vital steps when it comes to passing on the greatest gift of all?

Aug. 7/8
Pastor Liz Eide
Un-Think: Forgive=Forget
This is certainly a struggle for anyone who has ever been wronged. The challenge to, “forgive as we have been forgiven.” Yet does forgiveness mean that we also must forget? Is forgetting even a part of the forgiveness that’s talked about in scripture?

Aug. 14/15
Pastor Jon Larson
Un-Think: All roads lead to Heaven
In a world that is constantly seeking to be “politically correct” many have lost sight of the claim and challenge of Jesus that, “no one comes to the Father except through me.” How can we claim to have the one true faith? Why would we follow someone who seems to narrow the way to God instead of broadening it? Yet is that truly the case? Does this “narrow minded thinking” actually broaden the path that was once closed to many?
